Today I reformatted a computer. I started out by writing down the needed driivers. Then I reset the computer and changed the boot order to start from a CD and ran the CD. These computers will be used for the Middle School.
I started to reformat a computer as well. I reset the computer and changed the boot order so it could boot from the CD. I also started checking off computer policy papers of students who had them turned in. Unfortunately due to the assembly, I did not finish either one of these tasks.
Well I didn't get to do as fun of stuff as Adam or Brian, but I did get to update the calender on the school web site. I even finished during 7th hour when I had free time. Oh and Evan did all the Fall sports earlier in the summer and he did like 2 days on the calender today. So thanks Evan.
Me and Richard went up to the ISS room and gave that, jweiliemever dude his lunch number and his email account and password. Next we went to Mrs. Lackman's room and tried to open her cd-rom drive by using a paper clip in the little whole but it wouldn't move at all. When Mrs. Lackman came in and saw us she said that she tried that too and that it was that big of a deal that we couldnt open it, but someone last year replaced the cd-rom because of the same problem. Next we went to her student computer and replaced the mouse. When we went down to the computer lab I had to show richard about clean slate and what it does and how it works. While he was installing Office on the machine on the back table I was finishing up the computer policy papers.
Evan and I went to the ISS room first and gave the new teacher the info that Mrs. Kempker gave us. Then went to Mrs. Lackman's room and found out that her disk drive does not work. Also we replaced her mouse. After that I put microsoft office 2003 on the computer on the back side of the island in the computer lab. And finally I took Mrs. Bucshjost's new computer that was updated down to her room.
Today I reformatted a computer. I wrote down the drivers in the device manager. Then i reset the computer and changed teh boot settings to go from a CD ROM first. Then I ran into a few problems with keyboards but i got one to work. But i didnt finish the process.
