Seems like a long week and it was actually a short one. Everyone should be making a trip to the elementary today because I've got lots of e-mails from them. Check in with me and I'll let you know what you are doing.
I went over to the elementary like most of us did today. I went to Mrs. Shmidts room and had to figure out several problems in her room. Well The first problem wasn't really a problem, she said the computer wouldn't turn on, but it turned on perfectly fine with me. Two of them IE wouldn't work but Mozzila would so we just switched it to them. Another one renaissance was on it so I put a short cut on the desktop. By the end everything was working fine. One weired problem with one of the computers IE wouldn't work on was that it would work on the admin windows profile but not the boe windows profile. IDK what the heck was up with that? Yeah busy day though busy day.
Adam and I went over to the elementary. We took Mrs. Downings student computer and hooked it up. Then we had to install a CD drive on one of the student computers next to the speech room. And I put BOE user account on the other student computer.
Today, I went to pay a visit to the elementary. We had to return a computer to Mrs. Downing's room. We also had to install a CD drive in a student computer next to the speech room. The only problem was that the original CD drive didn't have the same ports as the new one nor was it plugged into the motherboard. So we brought the new one back. We didn't know where exactly we should plug it in so it is still unplugged from the motherboard.
Today I went to the elementary with Evan and we plugged in the power cord for the computer in Mrs. Eggen's room, then went to the library and set up a account on that computer for Mrs.McDowel. We also got to watch how a motherboard is taken out and replaced with a similar one. Also we set the home page on the computer lab's computers for google. Finally I learned how to change the drive letter for thumb drives.
First I went over to the Elem where I plugged the power cord back into the power strip and got all dirty because of the floor, lol. Next Richard and I went up to the Library and gave Mrs. McDowell a new user.. I just had her reset her password since there was one on there already. Next we came back over to the High school and accepted the personal settings on the computers in the computer lab!
