Good Morning--not much going on at the moment. We will work on reformatting PC's today or until someone wants something else done. REMINDER--QUIZ OVER HARDWARE COMPUTER TERMS (15) on Thursday and SOFWARE COMPUTER TERMS (18) on Friday.
Today I went up to the library in the High School to troubleshoot some computers. Three of them had things wrong with them and the problems all had to do with IE. IE wouldn't run in the bhs windows user. It would run in the admin windows user but not bhs....weired. The assistant computer in the Library office also can't connect to the internet but that's more of a network problem. Either the port, the cable, the NIC, or Novel isn't working idk which. But that's pretty much all I did.
Today Evan and I went to the library to clean up matt's mess. We got all the computers fixed except for the one in their office. We also took the one in the office along with another computer that doesnt work back to the computer lab with us. Evan and I put the anti-malware on the computers and fixed the Internet Explorer icons.
I went down to the Cafeteria again to get vexira to work. I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, updated it, and now works fine! I also finished up installing programs on the computers in the lab, then took them apart to clean out the dust.
Richard and I went to the HS Library to get Internet Explorer on the far left computer and the 2 on the far right. We got those to work but the one in the Library office we had to take back down and we set it on the table along with a student machine that apparently wasnt working either.
