Monday: I forgot to mention to everyone that I would be at a workshop in Columbia today learning about detecting and removing Malware from computers. I hope to teach you something new that I learn. While I am gone everyone should work on Chapter 1. I would like to see this finished and tested over by the end of this week. A preliminary podcast should also be recorded. You will want to practice once or twice before finalizing the podcast. Use your time wisely while I am gone and you will also need to work on some of this for homework. I will be asking to see Chapter 1 and listen to your practice podcast by the end of the week.

I got called into the office. They were having a problem logging into PowerSchool or Teacher or whatever it was. It was locking up, so I unlocked it, and then it was working. Then I finished up my cable that I was working on last week. There's a small problem though...It's not any certain length. It's like 7 feet, 8 inches long! Oops!....Hopefully we can use it for something. I put it in its own pile between the 4 foot and the 8 foot cables already done, and put my initials on it. Then I looked up information to talk about on my podcast.

Today I started out working on updating the web page. Then Mrs. K called and she had me go over to the elementary to look at Mrs. Eggens computer because the monitor wasn't working. Well I went over there made sure all the cables were plugged in and they were and it still didn't work. So I then decided that either her box for her projector wasn't working or the monitor wasn't working. I went up to the storage and called Mrs. K she told me to see if the box worked first and then try switching monitors. So I went back and plugged the monitor directly into the computer, that didn't work. I switched the monitor plugging the different one both into the computer directly and into the box for her projector. It still didn't work. So I'm guessing that the problem is the graphics card. I just can't see what other problem it could be.

Today Richard and I went to Mrs. Eggen's room, brought her computer back the the lab because it was having problems showing up. When we turned it on (With a new monitor this time, one that was in the lab) it worked just fine. We took the monitor from the lab back over to Mrs. Eggen's room and replaced her old monitor with the one that worked. That was the end of our day.

Today Evan and I went to the elementary and picked up Mrs. Eggen's computer. She was having problems with her monitor. After bringing it to the high school, we found it to work perfectly on the monitors here. So we called Mrs. Kempker to see what she wanted us to do. Then she told us to bring the monitor back to her, so we did and brought back the bad one.

Today I was alone in the computer lab so I finished my outline on my podcast and used the quiet to record some trial runs of my podcast just to see how Audacity works and practice saying it out loud.
