Friday: Yeah--it is Friday again! We will continue to work on reformatting PC's. Be sure to work on your vocabulary terms that I gave you this week. Quizes will be Thursday and Friday of next week.
Today, I went over to the elementary to run a malware detector. She had a program that said it was an anti-virus program. The Malware Bytes program detected and removed the program. the rest of the time was spent installing drivers.
I started reformating a computer but I was called by Matt and Mrs. K into her office, where I thought I was going to be in trouble (thanks Matt). Mrs. Pragman had let Mrs. Dixon on her computer, for some reason, and when Mrs. Dixon left whatever it was that she was doing did something funky, went black I think it was, and then the error popped up that said the computer was infected and it was going to steal her credit card numbers and such... So I went over to check it out. The program's name was Internet Antivirus Pro so I took a look at it and it was pretty much the same as it was last year and this summer, said it found malicious software on the computer and was asking to be registered to the computer so it could get rid of it. I went back to Mrs. K's office, she was gone, and looked up Internet Antivirus Pro. I got 2 hits on Google, one said that it was a fraud internet antivirus program, no surprise there, and it showed how to remove it but since the school blocks basically everything I just showed the site to Mrs. K when she got back and let her handle it! Finished up the day by reformating the machines.

All that I did today was reformat computers, once again. And I cleaned off Mrs. Abel's old computer to put into Mr. Karsten's room. That is all.
Went to Coach K's room with the new computer and loaded the progams he wanted.
