Wednesday: Yesterday I went to see a Promethian board demo and it is very cool. This board is the competitor to the Smart Board and it has some features that the SB does not have. It also has a response system where the students can be asked questions and they touch a number on the pad and the teacher gets all the results. Very neat! Looks like we are getting close to getting al the PC's reformatted. I'll find something new to do soon!

I just reformatted computers all hour. Also, a student was having problems printing, so I was going to unplug the cat 5 cable and plug it back in, but I couldn't get it out. Mrs. Kempker said we'll have to bring it back here and take it apart to see what's up.
Today, I went shopping on Newegg.com all hour. I found some good cd drives that were pretty cheap all considering. I also went shopping for a PSU for the MSLAB computer that was having power problems. That search was hopeless though because neither Mrs. K or me knew what to look for.
I went over to Mrs. West's room at the elementary and activated Windows on one of her student machines. Once again I had to call it in and once again I got an Indian Lady.
I went over to the Elementary and put Dreamweaver and Microsoft Publisher on Marta's computer. And i put Publisher on Mrs. Verslues's computer .
Today Richard and I went into Mrs. Sharon Buschjost's room and started working on moving her files over. We got her new computer set up on her old desk, Richard took importing all the files onto the new computer. I moved the Favorites, Address Book, and started to move the my documents folder onto the S: drive when it got overloaded..... oops.. I went back and CUT everything that was on the S: drive to the J: drive in a folder called My Documents. I taught Richard how to set up the email account, Outlook Express, import the Address Book, and import favorites.
Today Evan and I went to Mrs. Buschjost's room, the one that's Mr. Verslause's sister... hopefully that's how you spell his name... we set up the computer at her desk. Then we started to copy all the files from her documents when her desktop decided that it didnt want to work anymore. so after about 10 mins I told Evan that we should just restart the computer. So we did so, then restarted the process of copying. When it was copying Evan showed me how to create, copy, and open address books on outlook express and how to save favorites as a file. So we got the address book and favorites copied to the new computer. But we were copying the files to the s drive, which I did not think was gonna work, which not long after it filled up. Then Evan cut all of the files off the s drive, Mrs. Kempker wanted to make sure they didn't stay on there so no one could steal them, onto her j drive, which Mrs. Kempker advised us to use because it had alot more space. The files being transfered had a waiting time of approximately 120+ mins, so as you can tell, we did not get finished. I was around school, after school, and spoke with Mrs. Buschjost, and she said that it stopped, she did not specify why, and told me that we will just resume it tomorrow. And one last thing, I wonder how long this is. I'm going for a 100% on my blogging next quarter.
