Wednesday: I hope that we will be getting the sound working today or tomorrow in Mrs. Weber and Hunter's rooms. I think we will start our end-of-year cleaning soon because we have 3 buildings now. : ~) yippee!!!
I installed a printer on Mrs. Shell's computer. Then I picked up Mr.Karsen's printer from his office and brought it up here. It was having problems with paper jams. We got the paper jam out, so I brought it back down there and explained to him how to fix it if it happens again.
Went to the Middle school and downloaded microsoft publisher on a computer then went to the ms computerlab and put cleanslate on a couple computers they had a class in there at the time so i didn't get to look at all the computers and the teacher left and put me in charge. Warning do not let the teacher put you in charge it is not fun.
Today Richard and I went over to the middle school. We tried to hook Mrs. Weber and Mrs. Hunter with sound.. Mrs. Hunter's speaker doesn't have power hooked up to it so we didn't get to test it. Mrs. Weber's was making that weird sound again.. and we couldn't run the cord through the ceiling, because we couldn't even lift up the tiles around it.
Yesterday I was absent, and tomorrow I will be at a funeral. Today I went with Evan to the middle school, where we tried to hook up the sound for mrs. hunter. There was no power going to the speaker though... Then hooked up mrs.webers but it made a fuzzy sound and could not hook it up to her computer, so she was pretty mad...
Adam and I went to the middle school computer lab to put clean slate on the computer. Ran into a few problems...all but one has clean slate just not updated with the floppy disk.
Today in 3rd hour I went over with you to take inventory on some of the teachers sound set up to see what they needed. We discovered that only Beriendzein and Dixon were the only ones with problems. We then went to Mrs. Eggen's room in the Middle school and got her amplifier for Mrs. Dixon. Then in 5th hour I went back over the hook up Dixon and Beriendzeins sound. At my first attempt on Beriendzeins I couldn't figure it out on how to work, I thought I was missing wires. So I went down to Dixon and set her up, I figured her's out in no time. So I took what ever cables I didn't use on Dixon's and took them up the Beriendzein's room. Well I got the computer sound to work by plugging a splitter into her pc and running it to her monitor and the other one to the amplifier. The one i ran to the amplifier had a double RCA jack on it (red and white) to plug into the amplifier. So then the PC sound worked. I then started to try and figure out the dvd sound and video to work with only 10 minutes left before I had to leave. What I did with the dvd was that I plugged the RCA cable (Yellow, Red, White) running from the smartboard box on the wall directly to her dvd player and that got video but the sound came from the projector also. So I then tried to just run the video cable to the dvd player and the sound to the amplifier, now that I look back on it, I know this wouldn't of worked. At the time though I had to start coming back so I wasn't able to finish. I did get the pc sound working for both Dixon and Beriendzein. I didn't even mess with Dixon's vhs and dvd player because they weren't even plugged into power. Yeah I had a semi successful day.
