Thursday: I know I didn't get to blog yesterday and I'm sorry but it was a crazy day. We had to get a bunch of machines fixed so they could login to the server. Scott and I loaded a patch to the server trying to make the Win7 machines see the server and keep the tree, context, and server information. But when we did that, it couldn't find it at all. Scott gave me directions on how to put a line in the Host file to point the computer to the server every time it boots. This worked AND it keeps the server, context, and tree! So the extra work is worth it. Devun, Grant, and I spent the entire hour fixing these problems. Then I spent an hour with Scott figuring out how to get the library laptops to login to the network wirelessly. We did get that accomplished also and Curtis helped me do that. There were other problems as the day progressed and everyone was very busy.
Please post what you did on Thursday even though you are doing it on Friday. :)

Helped Mrs Kempker with the host problem in candices room and some over in the ms lab along with mr antel

Went to the HS library we check out the laptops and tried to log them in to the net work then loaded the programs on the old computers
I went to my mom's room in the elementary. I switched out a keyboard. Then I switched an IP address on one of the computers that had an IP conflict. No problems. Then I tried to get a computer to turn on that wouldn;t turn on. No such luck. I brought the computer back to be worked on. Then i went into Mitchell's room and finished up putting IP addresses on the rest of the machines.
