Friday: I learned a lot yesterday about the Google Chromebook and really like them. I would love to get a cart of 30 for the Middle School. I hope to talk to Ms. Gampher today about the possibility. These books are a cross between a tablet and a laptop. They do not have any operating system on them, they connect directly to the Internet. So all of your tasks are saved to the cloud and you can access it from anywhere. So you would have to use Google Docs for everything and gmail for your e-mail. There were also tons of apps that you could download for free which made it very much like a tablet. I found lots of education and fun things that could be downloaded. The cost is more than I was hoping for but we'll see how that goes with the district.
If you think any part of the school buildings was missed from our TDSS scan, please let me know. I'll be e-mailing the teachers today to have them do their own. We might have to help some of those who are scared to try things.

did a restore point on jill linenbrinks computer due to a virus and that fixed it, also had an issue with emily kempkers computer with novel so i reinstalled it for her.
went to mrs phillips room and had a little trouble getting to the restore point but i believe i got it, used a cd to make mrs pragman's publisher work and replaced a monitor in mrs scholties room
Today i began to work on Mr. Clutts laptop, it seems to be having a memory or hard drive problem due to constant blue screens. spent the hour trying to get into the computer but I didn't have luck due to some stubborn screws.
I went to the middle school to run the scan for Coach Wood. Then went to Mrs. Thrasher's room. She didnt have any of the drives. told her how to get back to the novell log in on windows 7. When she logged in there she had all the drives. Then i ran the scan for her. Then I went to the HS cafeteria to do their computers. They just had started serving so i came back a little later and ran the scan on both of their computers. No viruses on any of the computers i scanned.

finished scanning Mrs. Luebert's computers. no viruses were found
i screwed in the screws and then went over to mrs. schroeders room and fixed novell login i believe, she wasnt there to actually try it out so i am hoping it worked
its the new semester! and it seems as if every one has forgotten their novel passwords... so re set about 20 or so for mis Mitchell's class.
then in 7th hr me and emily were doing some stuff on one of the computers in the back of mis Abel's room and when you would do a google search it would never take you to the site you wanted... we did the TDS killer thing and found two of them. (think we fixed it)... but still need to do the other computers in the bck of her room to, cuz they have not been scanned.
