Friday: TGIF! Question of the day: You must always create at least 2 users when you are reformatting or setting up a new machine. What is the one user every machine must have on it? I guess there are bonus points for the first to answer because everyone else can copy. :) The reason I'm asking is because I found a pc in Mitchell's room with no users on it. Bad! They can be added but it is just an extra step that causes me or someone else more work. Let's do it right the first time. If you don't know, ASK!!!

Monday: Sorry I didn't blog on the right day but you can fill this in on Tuesday. We seemed to get a lot done despite the cold temperatures. I did not get one paper yesterday that was due. They need to be handed in today!!! We have a couple of machines to get going and then we'll continue to reformat the pc's from the hs lab.

Friday: I have a big upload due to DESE today so I'm stuck at my pc until that is done. Remember you have a paper due on Monday. We will deliver some pc's on monday also if weather is permitting. Today we need to finish up some odds and ends and get some cables to a couple of places. Have a great weekend.

Thursday: I have fought with the harddrive from Ms. Rich's pc for two days and I'm just going to reformat it. The problem is that I couldn't salvage any of her documents off of it. Oh dear!!! Remind teachers to back up files on a thumb drive or cd if they are important.

Tuesday: I am gone today taking my daughter to the airport for her semester studying abroad. Your assignment for today is to find a full-length article on the Internet or in a magazine about a new or emerging technology for computers, laptops, or cell phones. You must then write a review of the article: typed, 3/4 to 1 page in length, 12 pt. font, 1 inch margins, etc... meaning you can't make the print 20 pts so you don't have to write much. Copy or print the article and staple it to the review that you wrote. I must also know the exact source of the article. You can work on this today and it is due on monday, January 25. You may have to finish it outside of class time. Be good and stay in the lab.

Wednesday: I have spent the morning working on grade cards and fixing errors with that whole process in PowerSchool and now I am loading software on a machine from mrs. mitchell's and mrs. schmidt's rooms. someone will get to return them later today.

Monday: Well, with all the snow and days off school, it feels like we are just coming back from Christmas break...kinda are since we only had 2 days of school last week. I am deep into PowerSchool with grade cards and such and will be busy all day today with that. We will work on problems as they come and reformatting and distributing the computers that are in the lab.

Make it your New Year's resolution to blog daily. I do take a grade on it and will be tougher 2nd semester.
