Friday: I did not blog yesterday because I was at the Dr.'s getting an injection in my shoulder. Surprisingly it did not hurt at all. I'm sore today but all is good. Hopefully it will do the trick or else I have to have surgery. YUK! I've been catching up on e-mails and teacher requests for this and that today and some of you took care of minor problems for me so we are caught up as of 7th hour. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Wednesday: Before I forget, I will not be here on Thursday. I have to go to Columbia to have an xray and injection in my shoulder. I have bone spurs and swollen tendons. Yeah!!! Not looking forward to that. Anyway, everyone work on your video project on Thursday. It is a short day because of early out but you still have a good 35 minutes or so to work. Make them good!!!

Tuesday: I've spent my entire morning working with a technician at School Messenger setting up a new system for us to use. There is still a lot for me to do but I'll get it going pretty soon I hope.

Please be sure to give specific details in your blog. Who did you see, what did you do (specifically), where did you go. I like you to list the things you tried even if they weren't successful and of course what you did successfully. I'll be pickier this quarter.

Monday: I hope everyone had a great 3-day weekend. I did! Shopping in St. Louis on Friday and went to the Mizzou game on Saturday. What an awesome experience that was. I'm still tired from it all. My week needs to be all about core data. I will send you out if we have problems but other than that you should be working on your video project. Everyone will put their video into Movie Maker and add titles and such to enhance it. I'll help you with that if you need it. Have a good week.

Tuesday: I am going to be glued to my pc over the next several weeks working on the October core data report. Yipee!!! It is very frustrating and a long process but I'll prevail. Create an outstanding video for me.

Monday: Oops, it is the new quarter and I had forgotten to blog--but not one of you said a word. It is a short week with some of you out for ACT prep week so we will work on our flip video projects mostly. Not a lot of complaints lately from anyone regarding computers. Have a good week.

Friday: Last day of the 1st Quarter. My the year is flying by. I can return your buying computer projects today so ask me for it if I forget to give it to you. Tell me today what topic you are going to use to do your flip video on. Only one person per project. We will work on those starting today and next week. Have a safe and relaxing weekend.

Thursday: Be sure to pick up a flip camera assignment from me today. I started grading the last project and some look really good. A few of you didn't quite follow the directions and get all the info on paper you needed. I'm hoping that you learned something about looking for a new computer and the difference in processors, speeds, and what you are getting for your money. I have someone ask me what to buy for a new computer about every week. I don't really like making recommendations in case they don't like the computer or it has problems down the road. Important Question

Who took a computer to the MS nurse's station and switched it out for the one you carried over? The real question is, what did I have you do with the computer you took out of the nurse's station? She needs some files and we can't find them. Please answer either way.

Wednesday: I have an outline for what I want you to do with the flip cameras. I will give that to you on Thursday. If I don't mention it to you, be sure to ask. This will be the first project for 2nd Quarter. I will be looking at the blog this week sometime for a grade, so be sure you are up-to-date.

Tuesday: I am beginning my marathon of doing the October Core Data. I will be glued to spreadsheets and the DESE on-line core data site for the next couple of weeks until I get all the bugs worked out and the information clean for certifying. I will come up with a project for you all later this week or early next. I'm thinking of something with the new flip cameras I bought. Otherwise, things are pretty quiet.

Monday: I'm collecting the projects that you were assigned last week today. Make sure you turn it in. I looked through the ads this last weekend and Staples had a very good HP brand laptop for $479. It had an i3 Intel processor and 4 gb of memory if I remember correctly with Windows 7. Also, if you had a working WinXP or Vista pc that you were willing to trade in, they would take $100 off. I was trying to talk my husband into us buying that because we have a computer that I could trade but he didn't see the urgency of spending $400 at this moment. I'm sure there will be some good deals between now and Christmas. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I did and it went by very quickly.

Wednesday: I did forget to blog yesterday since I was at the conference so we will just skip one day. I would like for you to have your projects done by Monday, October 11. That will give me next week to check them. I will also check back over blogging to give a grade on it next week, so be sure you are keeping up.

Monday: Hello, I'm blogging from TanTarA at the Lake where my conference is. I checked my e-mail when I got here and there aren't any e-mails from teachers or principals with problems.
